Tri-eye Photography is Ben Keys, Jr, a Chattanooga, TN based professional photographer specializing in real-estate, landscapes, portraits, events, commercial, and photography workshops. Born in Greenville, SC and educated in Lynchburg, VA., and Oneonta, NY., Ben did stints in Philadelphia, PA., Williamstown, MA., and Starkville MS., before settling on Signal Mountain near Chattanooga. Ben enjoys traveling to unique and versatile areas to hone his skills behind the camera. He can usually be found practicing these skills near his second home in Cedar Mountain, NC when time is afforded. “Transylvania County is known as the land of waterfalls and the Blueridge Parkway is less than a hour away- I could spend the rest of my life making images in this area and still not capture 99% of the beauty that would remain!”
Ben Jr., has followed in the footsteps of his father, Ben Keys, who is also revered as an outdoor enthusiast and avid nature photographer. With dad’s conviction passed down to son, Ben Jr. claims, “Dad and photography have taught me how to see. I might not be able to capture the moment with the essence and ease of the masters, but by God I know when it's there.” And it is “there” that Ben finds himself most content.
